Little Randoms. Toilets. Elephants.

Hiiii!!!

So lately my life has been spent on the computer. I have a ridiculous amount of English homework because I'm trying to finish two Independent Study classes in less than 8 weeks, and that's one of the reasons I haven't exactly been the best blogger, either. Sorry if I'm not commenting as much on your posts or if I'm leaving super generic comments. I promise that I love you all and that I will be better once this is over! Oh, and PLEASE for my sake, turn off your comment word verification!!! I mean, REALLY. This affects my homework productivity levels, people!!!

Anyway, because of this whole English is taking over my life thing, I don't have any super creative, crazy "Germans are interesting because..." stories. Just a bunch of random thoughts that run through my mind when I should be doing homework.

1. I have always wanted to ride an elephant. For some reason, this has been on my mind a lot lately. Don't ask, because I have no answers for you.
2. If you want to find out about that one time I scored a goal for the other team, you have to go here. This is also the blog of the girl with the most amazing eyebrows.
3. I really need to clean and rearrange our apartment. It's been the same for too long, and it's driving me crazy. Plus, since my life has been taken over by homework, the apartment has suffered in the cleanliness department. I'm not even going to put a picture here, because I'm embarrassed by what it looks like. Let's just say that if one of you decided to make a spontaneous visit, it would take me more than 10 minutes to make the place presentable.

4. I have time to do ONE more blog design before I go out of town for 2 weeks. If you're interested, prices and portfolio are here. I get them done within a couple of days as long as you email me back. I just recently finished this one for Bri. Check it out on her site.

5. I had another weird/vivid dream last night. It involved walking into my in-laws' bathroom and discovering that it had 2 toilets instead of one, and flowery toilet paper. One toilet was German, and the other was American. I sat there for what seemed like hours trying to decide which one to use.

So anyway. That's how exciting my life is - toilet dreams and thinking about riding an elephant.

i'm glad that you weren't in a Germany national football team when you scored that goal. otherwise, we couldn't be friends,,hahaha

I actually think I would've chose the German toilet - something alluring about the 2 differnet flush options. Hm...

My parent's went to Thailand and rode and elephant! My mom says it was one of the funniest things she has ever done! So if you ever get a chance do it! It is on my bucket list!

strangely enough, i have dreams about toilets a LOT. like, way more than normal. and 9 times out of 10 it usually involves me using it in public. ugh.

anyway, your photo of the german toilet reminded me of my first experience in europe. i had just gotten off the plane and went to the nearest bathroom in the airport and encountered a toilet just like that one. i had no idea how to flush it!! it took me about 5 whole minutes - looking on the sides, looking on the floor - to realize that i had to push the thingie on the wall. and then it took me about 2 more weeks before i realized that there are buttons for #1 & #2. confusing :)

good luck with your studies!! just think about how great it will be when they're finished.

(also, my boyfriend rode an elephant in thailand. there was no more room on the back, so he got to sit on the elephant's neck - all close and personal. lucky guy...)

Yay! So happy to find out you do blog design! I hadn't noticed that before. I've definitely been in the need for someone to do some tweaking to my blog. I just had my blog built and started blogging a couple of months ago. You learn as you go what you really need and the girl I used to build my blog never got back to my additional requests or the referral I gave her once she finished. So disappointing. But now I can utilize your skills! Expect to hear from me!

In total agreement on the comment word verification! It doesn't even really work! I and others have purposely entered wrong characters to still have it post. Whatevs.

And, yeah, I'll totally be riding an elephant a month from now in India! What!

Is that art above the German toilet? Or does it actually serve a purpose. I get scared using toilets in foreign countries. I never know what they're going to do. ;o)

I don't want to sound like I'm bragging, but I actually HAVE ridden an elephant. It was in Thailand...and it was amazing! I hope you have the chance sometime soon!

I think riding on an elephant would be such a neat experience! I also want to try riding one, elephants are so cute when they're like babies.

I like the blog design that you recently did, I'm starting to learn about HTMLs :P did you take some classes on web designs?
