On Dreams. And a winner

No, not the Susan Boyle or Les Miserables kind of dreams - the what the heck does my subconscious actually think about when I'm not listening kind of dreams.
Lately I have been having some really freaky dreams. Really weird stuff is happening in them. Case in point:

1. Witnessing a bunch of people get beheaded. This one had me up in a cold sweat.

2. Vampire bunnies. I've talked about that already.

3. Going to Walmart. And buying pretty much everything in the store, including red lipstick. I took this as a hint that I needed to purchase some myself in real life, and will be debuting my clown-face tomorrow or Wednesday. Stay tuned for that.
4. Driving a car through the mountains. And driving right off the side of a cliff. My car was sailing through the air with me in it, and I woke up right before it crashed into a bunch of trees.
5. Trying to catch a "panda bird" in a jar. I had this one last night. You may be thinking, What the eff is a panda bird? I have a picture of it in my mind, and when I googled it, this is a picture I found that resembles the bird most:
So anyway, I was teaching my 13th graders, then all of a sudden, the teacher asked me to go catch the panda bird in a jar that she gave me so that we could do a lesson on it. I went outside and tried to catch it, but no luck. I'd just gotten the bird to put its head in the jar when I heard "Play That Funky Music" telling me to wake up. Dream Interpretations welcome.

And just for fun - what's the craziest dream you've ever had? I would like to know that I'm not the only one...

PS: Jessica was the winner of the German candy! Congrats! Send me an email by tomorrow evening, and I'll get you your prize!

Maybe your subconscious is taking driving lessons from Ron Weasley? Most of my dreams are just weird. I can't even explain them kind of weird. When I can remember them I can't seem to find the words to explain them.

You are not alone!I've always been experiencing super weird dreams. Like rainbow colored cows and climbing a high building using a tissue paper. I even had a dream where my family are the cast in Dragon Ball Z and we were all bald. It's so funny and disturbing. lol

i somehow skipped over the part about this being a dream...and when i got to the part about you sailing through the air off a cliff, i was very concerned.

I hardly, if ever, have "good dreams"...there almost always more similar to nightmares. May a few times a year I will think "oh man, I did not want to wake up from that". Most of the time it is "oh thank god I am not being attacked by a clown".

It must be the season, I've had some really whack dreams lately, too. Like getting trapped in the jungle with the soccer team because our Donkey-Kong-esque rail car jumped the tracks. Weird.

Anyhow, found you via The Girl Party. Can't wait to follow along with more of your adventures!

I have always had vivid, crazy, ridiculous dreams. And our son has apparently inherited it from me! He woke us up at 4:00 this morning because he had a dream a giant dog ate him in one big bite!

I dreamed that someone stole my camera and threw away my memory card, and I woke up sobbing! I think I'm a little too attached to my camera:)

Now you have Les Mis stuck in my head!

Those are some crazy dreams, especially the ones about vampire bunnies. Scary. And I've had dreams about going shopping too, you're not the only one!

i'm glad someone else has crazy/weird/freaky dreams. I don't know what it is lately. Maybe the arrival of spring is bringing all the weird thoughts out of our heads. ha! xo

Wowsers! Some crazy dreams there! I once had 7 crazy dreams in one after a night out...they were all Harry Potter-esque which was awesome (though I can't remember any details)!

I'm definitely thinking that your dreams are a result of a new phenomenon known as TMHG (too much hunger games). Either that or you've been stung by a tracker jacker.

Ok normally I might consider telling you my own dreams, but last night a friend (a guy, this seems a juicy detail to the story) told me such an epic dream he had that I just need to share. I think it is the most funny one I heard ever.

He dreamed that he was sleeping with his family in a room, but there was only one big bed. And then he needed to sleep on a small matress on the ground instead. But since space was scarce, he ended up sharing his bed with Hitler (!). But Hitler was scared about sharing the bed with my friend.. and as they were in bed he didn't want anybody to turn off the light at any time.

as you might understand we couldn't quite take him seriously any more after that(consider the hilarity when later that evening on a more serious note he was talking about 'all my dreams have come true but two')
