SUNDAY CONFESSIONS LINK UP!

Hey there!!!

Sheesh, time has been just flying by. We're headed back on Tuesday - I can't believe it's already been almost 2 weeks!

Anyway, It's Sunday, and of course it's time for Confessions! Grab a button and link on up!

1. I have thoroughly enjoyed having almost no internet access. Yes, it's a royal pain in the butt for a blogger to have to answer emails from a McDonald's parking lot. No, I'm not looking forward to catching up on everything. But it's nice to not have technology constantly eating my life.
2. I like fish and chips. I HATE sea food. I think it's disgusting. But fish and chips are delicious here in Scotland - it doesn't even taste like fish.
3. My jeans are disgusting. I brought 2 pairs of jeans with me, and pop exploded all over one pair. I slipped and started to fall down a steep mountain in my other pair, and they are covered in grass stains and dirt. Such is life.

4. I NEVER make an effort to look good when I'm on vacation. Husband and I are outdoorsy people, and I sort of figure, "What's the point?" Yeah, I get my picture taken a bunch, but I guess I just don't care enough to spend time on silly things like makeup or cute clothes. Jeans and a hoody and I'm good to go.

5. I will not even tell you how many bags of sweets I have consumed in the past 4 days. What's that? You REALLY want to know? Okay. Five. I know, I'm awful. I also found granola bars and cupcakes with frosting. Yeah, it's not been a good week for my teeth.
Do you guys have anything to confess? Link up!!

It's been YEARS since I've had fish and chips, but I will never forget it because it was awesome! Wish I had some right now...
And I was without internet (and cell phone!) last weekend when I visited B, and it was glorious. It felt so good to be...free.

Are there any Starbucks up there? When I was in Munich for Oktoberfest last year, we spent a fair amount of time sitting on the floor at the Hauptbahnhof just outside the S-bucks so the girls could check email/Facebook. It was like a refuge for backpacking Americans with technology withdrawal. iPads and hangover coffees for all!

Enjoy the rest of your vacation!!

It's amazing to realize how much time we actually spend on the internet. lol. and the only time we realize that is when we don't have it.
Fish chips looks really greasy... blek
So glad you found cupcakes!!

Oh my goodness I think the fish and chips look fabulous!! I'd love to have some...mail it to me?! :) HA! It wouldn't be vacation if you weren't eating scrumptious yummies.

No way has it already been 2 weeks! WOW! I'm really excited to hear about your trip! And see all of your beautiful pictures!

I bet you've never been so excited to do laundry before. ;o) I'm like you on vacation. I pack light wearing the same clothes over and over, and I rarely wear makeup. A vacation is about relaxing and seeing the sights, right? Who has time to waste applying makeup? :o)

I always look like crap on vaca too because we generally do outdoorsy active stuff and I'm having so much fun I really don't care! And I never get online when I'm on vaca abroad! Totally acceptable!

Fish and chips! Yes! Nothing like 'em. I bet they taste a million times better in Scotland though.

And ... vacations are MEANT to be when you let everything go. Laundry. Showering. Eyebrows (and other hairy places). Its part of the fun. :D

I agree when it comes to NOT missing the internet! When we go camping in the summer, I have two weeks of web-free living and it is the best two weeks of my life. I don't miss anything about it. Maybe that should tell me something..

Fish & Chips, maybe the only good food to come out of the UK but it's delicious so I'm ok with it
