Favorite Things Friday

Heyyy youuuu guyyyssss!!!!

... so, now that that's out of the way (I think I'm going through a phase where I have to greet you with a video - sorry about that), we can move on to Favorite Things Friday.

As you know, Thanksgiving is coming up. As you may or may not know, Germans do not celebrate Thanksgiving (let's think, here... did the Pilgrims come to Germany, too? No? Great. Now you know why they don't celebrate that holiday here). Anyway, I have so much to be thankful for, including these favorites:

1. Movies. Silly, ridiculous, and/or funny because they're so dumb movies. I know, what a weird favorite, right? Wrong. If these types of movies are not one of your favorites, you're missing out. Go watch The Goonies right now and tell me if I'm wrong.

2. Adventurous Cooking Escapades. Fo' realz. How amazing, yummy, and awesome does this little dish look? Yeah, it was a glorious, simple, and delicious experiment. Took us about 15 minutes, too. You can't beat that.

3. Hubby. Yes, my husband is one of my most favorite people in the whole wide world.

4. Traveling. It's an all-time favorite, and we have been blessed with the opportunity to travel so much. I've been to so many different places in this beautiful world, and I am constantly expanding my horizons and learning about different places and people. If you ever get the opportunity to go somewhere amazing, do not hesitate. If it's do-able, even if it will make money tight, go. You may never get the opportunity again. Serious. Hubby and I are dirt poor right now, but we go to a different city every week, because we know that now is the time. We might not get another chance to explore Europe. It's worth it. A new car or outfit doesn't last forever, but the memories of discovering a new place with your loved ones will always be there.
5. This song. I love it so much. All Will Be Well by Gabe Dixon Band.

Hope you all have a fabulous Friday, and thank you SO much to all of the veterans out their who risk their lives to preserve and protect our freedoms.

I love movies, and bad movies have a special place in my heart as well. Some good (but silly) recommendations: "Army of Darkness", "Hot Fuzz", "Run, Fatboy, Run", "Arsenic and Old Lace", and "One, Two, Three".

McKenzie - YES! The shuffle truffle!!! I love it!
TJ - you totally need to make your husband watch that movie. It's totally a classic!!!
Glen - I've heard such good things about "Arsenic and Old Lace!" I must watch it. And all those other ones. I'm checking NetFlix.
Alexis - Thanks! And ohmygosh. I love that movie! I swear I watched it at least three times in high school because teachers didn't know what to do with us for a lesson or two, and they all love this movie, so they would just pop it in! Great movie.
