An American Thanksgiving in Germany

I am so thankful to be here in Germany.

I am thankful that the Lord has blessed me with so many opportunities. I'm thankful that I have been blessed with a wonderful husband, family, and friends (near and far). I am thankful that I have a home, food to eat, and clothes on my back.

We had Thanksgiving here in Germany with a couple other Amis (slang for "Amerikaner").

Hello from Hastings, Nebraska! Claire was so excited to be part of the Thanksgiving festivities with her new friends in Germany--hope her corn casserole was tasty! Go Huskers! Mark and Cathy Phillips (Claire's folks)

Happy Thanksgiving fellow expat in Germany!! We had a nice American Thanksgiving here as well! Although it was just the hubby and myself this year...better that way so we could hog all the mac & cheese! :)

What the heck! Where did you find a turkey so big? Ours was pathetic, but thank God the sweet potatoes and pumpkin pie made up for it.
