Favorite Things Friday

Hi friends!!

Are you all as excited as I am about the fact that it's finally Friday?? If not, you are probably definitely smoking crack crazy.

Anyway... I've got a list of Favorite Things this week, and there's really no theme - it's just a bunch of random really cool stuff.

1. Peanut Butter Frosting. Holy balls, you people know me well. Kylie emailed me with this recipe, and it is to die for. It is also extremely rich, which keeps me from eating the whole pan of brownies in one sitting.
2. YouTube video converter. Ummm am I the only one living in the stone age, completely unaware that you can convert YouTube videos to mp3s? Well, whatever. If you're slower than me, check this out.

3. Coral Jeans. I ordered a pair in like, March, and they were on backorder. I got an email yesterday telling me that they've been shipped!! YAY!!
4. Songs about California. My 8th grade English class is doing a unit on California, so I put together a CD with a ton of songs about California. We're going to do an analysis of "It Never Rains in Southern California" in class tomorrow.

5. Space Bags. I could kiss whoever invented these puppies. As I'm packing our lives into 4 full-size suitcases and 2 carry-ons, I'm reminded of how awesome these suckers really are. And... German space bags are totally superior to the American ones. Amen and amen.

So... Promise me a few things:
1. You will try the peanut butter frosting (it's so worth the 2 seconds it takes to make)
2. You will not make fun of me for living under a rock (I can't be the only one who didn't know about the mp3 thing... can I??)
3. You will have a supercool weekend.

LURVE YOU!!!
PS... Thanks for this yesterday (I really can't believe it. Like... I'm in total shock - you guys are freaking amazeballs):

I still have no idea about the MP3 thing... so rest assured. Although I did figure out how to download them as video files onto my computer (for a school without internet connection... this is vital)! :)

I learn something new every day. I had no clue about the YouTube thing either! Space bags regularly save my life. Maybe not in the sense that they rescue me from drowning or save me in a fatal car accident, but I tend to go crazy if things aren't organized. So I guess they save my sanity. :) Have a great long weekend!!

Sharing the link for those jeans just made my day!! I've been wanting some colored jeans but I've been having a horrible time find colored jeans that are 1. affordable and 2. come in long lengths. I am soooooo ordering a pair!

I don't think I told you, but I love your new design! The header is beautiful!!

I didn't know about the youtube to mp3 option either! What would you need that for, though?

Did Katy Perry's California Gurls song make it onto your class playlist? ;o)

Peanut butter frosting? I simply had to say something because you nailed it!! Peanut butter frosting is one of my favorite things ON EARTH. I'm a little obsessed with peanut butter too.... I'm currently NOT seeking help for my addiction ;)

Do you think the brownies would be fine if they're out of a box instead of homemade?? Hahahaha I SO don't have patience for making them by hand but that frosting sounds amazing!

Songs about california:

1. California Love // Tupac
2. Folsom Prison Blues // Johnny Cash -- I feel like you should just tell people about this one because thats' where I'm form.
3. California Gurls // Katy Perry.

You're welcome for that.

Also, I've been downloading music off of YouTube since forever. Hahaha!! Just don't tell the people of the internetzz. ;)

I've wondered if those space bag things really worked.

When I was little, my parents used to make peanut butter frosting something like this to put between graham crackers, and sometimes we had that for breakfast.

Once on Mother's day or some other day, my sis and I thought WE'D make breakfast for our parents and serve it to them in bed. We made the PB frosting in graham crackers.

We used flour instead of confectioner's sugar.

I'll let YOU figure out how they tasted - - - -

Hehehehehehehe

OK first of all... HOLY SMOKES on the pageviews!?! IN ONE day!?! GO you!!! I think 300 in one day is exciting. ;) Secondly, those pants are da bomb!!! I want some! :) I wanna see what you look like in them first though... You know, the whole we both have long legs thing... ;)

Oh my god peanut butter frosting? Maybe I'll have that for dinner.
And I knew about the MP3 player thing. I had software that would convert it, but when I uninstalled the software, I lost all my songs... I guess you just need to have the right one!

I've had peanut butter frosting! It is awesomeatron. Also, that is kind of a lot of pageviews, and I think my head would be too big for any building if it happened to me ...

That's a lot of views. I guess I should tone it down a bit then?

And ummmmm...space bags. I need these. Genius.
