Favorite Things Friday

 Hiiiii!!!!!!

So... it's Friday! I didn't really have a real week, so it seems a little soon for the weekend, but who's complaining? Not this girl.
So... who wants a premade template for $20? Color changes are $5. Email me.
I don't have a spot on my design site for templates, yet, so I'm putting it here.
Anyway... Time for a little list of my favorite things!!

1. Tiffany Alvord's cover of "I Won't Give Up." I love it! I think I might actually like it more than the original. Don't hate me!!!

2. The smell of springtime. Flowers, if we're getting specific. Germans love their gardens, and I love them for that. Echzell smells amazing right now. That's a plus of living in a teensy town, right?!
3. Blates. I went on one!!! I met Bailey in Heidelberg on Monday, and it was great to meet another blogger in Germany!! I'll blog about that soon.
4. Finding new recipes. You guys are awesome, and when I ask for recipes, you deliver. Approximately half of them contain cheddar cheese (which I can't find anywhere here), so they have gone on my Pinterest food board until I get back to the states. The other half of them will be (and have been) feeding Husband and I, so keep em coming! [Yes, that was me encouraging you to share more yummy recipes with me].
Even more important than the recipes... I just figured out how to embed pins. I'm a little slow.

5. Students doing well. My student that I was tutoring passed his Abitur!!! AND he did really well on his oral exam!!! I'm so proud of him!!

I think I like that cover better than the original as well! And I agree, I love the smell of spring. All the flowers are out right now, and it's so pretty.

German gardens are fantastic. I need to hire someone to do something about my balcony for me! As for cheese... do you have a Rewe anywhere near you? They usually have pre-sliced cheddar in their deli section... not ideal but can be worked with!

haha blates! that's a fun word. gee, i can't wait to go on my first blate. too bad all my blogger buddies live very far away, some of you even on other continents :(

i can't believe you can't get cheddar cheese! it's only like the best cheese ever. it blows my mind that they don't have it in germany. i just mentioned it to my boyfriend and he informed me that they don't sell it in switzerland either. my heart just broke a little for you and a little for my future self living there, cheddar cheese-less. luckily they have tons of cheddar in buffalo :)

have a great weekend!

Tiffany Alvord is adorable! I have yet to go on a Blate.. I can't wait for my first one! And I can't imagine a cheddar cheeseless world.

I need to learn how to embed a pin before next week! I tried 4 new recipes from Pinterest this week that I want to blog about, but I have no idea how to make it show up the way you did!

Congrats on helping your student pass! Kudos to you! I knew you'd be a great teacher!

No cheddar cheese? Germany is off my list of places to live now.

I still haven't completely figured out how to embed pins - when I try it cuts off half the caption :(

I love your design!

I didn't realize you could embed pins, so at least there's someone slower than you. And that template is really pretty!
