The Weekend. The Avengers. Awesome People (or Person).

Happy Monday, people!!
Or... not so happy, depending on how you look at it.

Hope you guys all had a good weekend - I know I did! I can't tell you what I did, because I honestly can't remember, but I know it was good. I think there was some pool time, ripping of wallpaper (yes, it's still haunting me), Avengers watching (holy awesomeness), church going, nephew watching, and Texas Roadhouse eating.

Let me tell you what I thought of The Avengers.
1. Captain America has a NICE booty. Don't lie, you know you like it.
2. Thor has some NICE arm muscles.
3. So THAT's where Robin Sherbatsky was when she was in Japan on HIMYM.
4. The Hulk is so not attractive.
5. Why does Samuel L. Jackson always have to be so hardcore?

Anyway. Just some food for thought for you there! Now that I'm done blabbering about The Avengers, it's your turn to take a gander at my awesome Blog of the Month for July. Kaylee is awesome and so is your blog. I hope you take the time to check her out, because she is worth it! You totally won't regret the 5 minutes that it takes you. She is awesome, funny, and totally lovable!

Take it away, Kaylee!

Why hello there all of you lovely people I have never met. You may be wondering why our hilariously lovely friend, Alyx, is letting me, a complete stranger, take over and blog today. Well, I can kind of answer that for you.... from what I gather, she likes me or something and she wants all of you guys to like me as well so she asked me to be her July Blog of the Month. Basically, to me this sounds like a win, win, win (you know what I am talking about right??? If not, click here).

Okay, so now I guess it would be appropriate to tell you a bit about myself. I thought I should do this by recording myself spinning this sick rhyme I created just for Y-O-U....

Okay, just kidding. But taking an excellent cue from Alyx, I will pick a song I like for you to listen to while I drone on and on and on about myself and my life.... YIPEE!
*click play and then continue to read*

First things first, I'm Kaylee. I don't think I properly introduced myself earlier, and for that I am sorry! I write over at All Things Bright and Beautiful. Some random background is that I've lived in Central Florida my entire life. I am the oldest of three sisters and they both think I'm weird. Weird meaning I just like to have A LOT more fun than them.

I just married my best friend a little over a month ago. It was magic. And quick. Anyone else getting married soon? My one piece of advice would be to get a photographer or videographer that is STELLAR! You won't remember a thing :)

Annnnyyyyhooooo, my husband, lovingly referred to as the King (that's his real name people), and I are very different, but it works. Here are the top three reasons why our relationship works:

1. We both are okay with staying up late and watching Lost instead of getting a proper 8 hours of sleep.
2. We eat like five times a day and are constantly offering each other food and snacks.
3. Oh, and we kind of really love each other.

Over at my blog, you basically will read nothing of great importance. Like...... AT ALL. Well other than stuff about the King and I and what we are up to. It's all mostly random, sometimes seriously or deep, but mostly a great nonsensical time. Basically every time my husband and I go and do something I take a ton of pictures (on my iPhone) and then he asks, "Amor, where are these pictures going???" To which, I have to act like I didn't hear him and post the pictures any way or say something creative like, "Amor! I have to put this on the  blog. The people request it!!!" The thing is, I am an EXTREMELY open book (seriously, ask me my weight.... 135), and the King is a very private person (seriously, ask me his weight...... 160. I can tell you because I am an open book, but if you had asked him he would have rather died than tell you).

The one really really cool thing I started (and this shows how much of a nerd I am) is The Book Club. Each month we vote on a book to read, read it throughout the month, I do a giveaway mid month and the last Friday of the month I host a link-up party where we all submit our blog posts or comments concerning the book. Its awesome. Click on over to my blog to vote for July's book. We extended the voting until Wednesday so that we could include you lovely people. So hop on over! I would love to have you guys join in on the fun!
Well, shucks Alyx. Thank you so much for letting me write the most random and terrible guest post. I really appreciate the opportunity! In all seriousness, I can't wait to get to know you guys better. Come on by; you'll have a great time, or your money back.... GUARANTEED!

Isn't she great? Also, it's the last day to enter this giveaway!!

Oh and I love the guest post! Such a cute post and blog! I agree with not remembering anything when getting married. I actually asked hubsters if music played when we kissed because I was going to be mad if it didn't. He assured me that it did but I still don't remember it.

I have not seen the Avengers, because I have a general Aversion to movie theaters. But since you lie it, I'll see it when it hits the Redbox.

And Kaylee seems adorable! Heading over to check out her blog.

Captain America is, in general, awesome, and Kaylee's advice on getting a good photographer is right on! I do not remember my wedding at all! Good thing for pictures.
