Wishes are not just for Birthdays.

Yo ladies (and gents, if you're reading)

Let me just tell you how much I am loving the warm weather and sunshine. I fully plan on spending the day outside. Or doing something fun. I'm not really sure yet. Maybe all of the above. Anyway, today I was thinking about how awesome it would be to have a genie to grant me three wishes (don't ask me why - I'm not sure why these things happen in my head).

Basically, it would be awesome. You know what's even more awesome, though? The things I'd wish for.

1. An all-expenses-paid-all-around-the-world trip. I'd hit up every country. It'd be awesome. I'd take bajillions of pictures, and I'd never lack blogging inspiration again.
2. A money tree. Sorry, guys. I hate to be this materialistic, but moolah is important, and a money tree would be frickin' awesome. Can you imagine a life where you never have to worry about bills? Amazing, right?
3. Harsher penalties for parole violators. If you know what I'm talking about, comment below and we'll be besties.

And... now you can read all about one of my bloggy friend Amy's wishes!

Hi Everyday is a New Adventure readers! I'm Amy and I blog over at Amy and the City! I'm from Melbourne, Australia and blog about all things going on in my life.
I'm just popping over today to show you what is on my shopping wishlist at the moment, most of which are just far far away in my dreams.
Okay enough chatting, go ahead and check these babies out!

Isn't her sense of style so fun?! I think I am totally gonna need one of those maxi skirts, stat!! And how awesome is it that she lives with kangaroos (okay, she probably doesn't live with Kangaroos, but she lives in Australia, so she lives closer to them than I do)?!

I'm so with you on the around the world trip thing. BTW have you heard of that Around the World Plane Ticket that's like 10 grand?? I always thought that one day when I meet my handsome prince who also adores traveling that I'd convince him to get one of those tickets with me.

Loved your comment about the kangaroos. I wish I lived closer to them too!

You and I are so besties. I think the problem is that jail doesn't teach people to be better citizens, and most felons have a better quality of life on the inside than they do on the outside. Why wouldn't they want to violate parole and go back?

I will stuff myself in your suitcase for your trip around the world. Just give me a straw so that I can stick it out the zipper and get some air every now and then.

I'm going to be a 5 year old here and add wishing for more wishes. And I'd def wish for #1 so I could join you

I'd totally wish for a trip, AND the money tree. Awesome.

I share all your same wishes :) It's funny though, my husband really does think money grows on trees (I do all the finances... he has no clue!)

Those are some pretty kick ass wishes. But I would never wish for a money tree - with my black thumb it'd be dead before it's little coins could bloom into nice, fat dollars. I think I'd just have to wish for self-replenishing money directly deposited into my bank account. Yeah, why not?

So, I had no idea what that reference was, but word in the comments seems to be Miss Congeniality. I've never seen it - my dad always said it was good, but I figured he just liked looking at Sandra Bullock. But now that it's officially been endorsed by you, I may have to give it a chance :)

I'm so glad you're having fun back at home! Don't lose that German, though! Just speak it to strangers. You'll be that new, mysterious, international girl in town who looks suspiciously like Alyx. :)

LOVE your #1 wish!!!!!

SO you could totally combine wish 1 with wish 2, because if you had a money tree, you could pretty much pay for going around the world!! I just saved you a wish, maybe you should give it to me ;)

Haha Sandra Bullock is one of my favorites! And if you ever get that all-expenses-paid trip around the world you should let me know. I'm looking to get one myself :)

It would be pretty awesome if she did in fact live with kangaroos. Like the kangaroo was her butler. and he wore a little butler suit. and the little joey would help with carrying the tea tray. I think I'd be into that.

So I guess I can be your Miss Congeniality? Haha great wishes!

Really cute picks! I have similar studded loafers and they are my favorite!

When I was little, and I'd ask my grandfather for a new Barbie doll or whatever, he would look up in the air and make motions with his hands like he was grabbing stuff... he was grabbing money off the money tree! I rarely got the new Barbie.

Great wishes :) Wouldn't it be fantastic to have money to enjoy life and all the things around it. I would love to travel! Good outfit pieces too!
