Things I've Learned about Life.

Yo.

Guys. I'm pretty wise for only being around for 23.5 years. Seriously. I thought I'd share with you some of the wisdom I've gained over the span of my incredibly long and exciting life.

Hey, I don't know if you know this, but half of that paragraph was pure sarcasm. I'll let you pick which half.

PS: There's still time to enter the giveaway HERE

So.
Life Lessons by Alyx

1. The toilet paper always runs out when things get messy.

via
2. You can never find your keys, your cell phone, or your purse when you're running late.

3. Every light will be red and every slow semi-truck will be on the road when you're running late.

via
4. You only run late when you have somewhere important to be.

5. You will get into a car crash on the most important day of your life. Oh, wait... was that just me? Oh, well. It stays.

6. You will probably be really poor at some point during your life - learn from it.

7. Exercise really does make a difference - not only physically, but mentally.

8. There will always be someone better than you, smarter than you, prettier than you, and nicer than you. There will also always be someone worse than you, dumber than you, uglier than you, and meaner than you - so quit wasting your time comparing yourself to everyone you meet.

via
9. The grass is always greener on the other side. Yeah, I came up with that one - did you not know that?

10. Your life is too short to be miserable with where you are or what you're doing. If you're not happy, realize that YOU are in control, and take the steps to change that.

And now... because I love Gentri's questions... I'm going to answer them.

1. Pick a boyfriend: Edward Cullen, Peeta Mellark, or Harry Potter

Bah. Umm... Peeta. Duh. Who cares if he's dumb and totally in love with Katniss? I could change that.
2. If you HAD to have a crazy hairdo, what hairdo would you choose and why? (mohawk, mullet, etc)

Mullet. Business in the front, party in the back! HOLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAA!!!
Dude. I'm totally kidding. I wouldn't be caught dead with a mullet.

This, though? THIS I would do.
Still kidding. I don't really have an answer for this question.

3. If you could be a celebrity what would you like to be celebrated for? (Dance, Singing, Acting, Reality TV [ie no reason], Political Leader, etc)

Guys. I'm a totally amazing actress. I know you don't believe me... but for real.

4. Be honest- do you brush and floss your teeth daily?

I brush every day, twice a day. Flossing... I know, I'm bad - Once every couple of days.

5. What is one fear you are working to overcome?

Bugs. I am deathly afraid of bugs. It's a serious problem.

6. White Chocolate, Milk Chocolate, Dark Chocolate, or Semi-Sweet (isn't that just dark chocolate)??

Dark chocolate... but only if it's in truffle form.

7. What is one trend you wish you could pull off?

Didn't I already mention the mullet? Totally kidding. Umm... IDK. What's trendy now?

And... here's the ridiculous picture to accompany the questions.

Love this idea! I am only 20 1/2 years old, but I want to write what I've learned too! I am a copy cat and I am not ashamed.

PS Your comments on my blog never fail to make me laugh.

PPS You would look hawwwt with a fire hydrant-red mullet. Just combine the two photos. Genius.

#3 is true ALL THE TIME. I wish I could make certain drivers disappear from the road sometimes. If only...

Bahahaha rock that mullet girl!

wise words from a wise old woman :) i especially love #7. even though i've exercised most of my life, i didn't realize what a positive mental impact it has until one day that i was bumming and my boyfriend made me come for a run, ensuring me that i'd feel better after. i didn't believe him, but i did it anyway, and wouldn't you know that i cheered right up. it's like magic. really painful, sweaty magic.

Love your list! I'm learning about #7 right now - exercise really DOES pay off in more ways than simply making you physically fit. Also, for the chocolate question... I'm pretty sure semi-sweet is slightly different than any of the ones listed. Coming from someone who uses those packages of semi-sweet chocolate chips more often than she should, they are definitely not dark, but not quite milk. Have I confused you even more? :p

that picture is amazing! It would only be better if you had an amazing mullet to complete it. I like your answers.
