You guys. I think I'm a real blogger now - I got this sweater from Sugarlips Apparel, and I am soo in love with it - it's lightweight and incredibly comfortable, plus it came with this adorable belt. It just doesn't get any better than that. If you're looking for a new store to spend all of your hard-earned money, well, then... go here.
In other news... I have compiled a list of Three Ways to Know You are a Crazy Cat Lady [it would be 5 but I'm running late on time]:
1. You put your cat on a leash and take him for walks. I think this is self-explanatory.
2. You talk to your cat. I'm talkin' full-on conversations. Like the one I had with Zeuss this morning, when I ranted to him about how difficult finding a balance is. He understands - all that napping, stalking, and eating is hard work, you know.
3. You take family photos with your cat, and put them on your christmas cards. Make sure he is appropriately clothed, though.

Funny story, one time my best friend was making fun of her husband for playing a nerdy computer game and I asked him what it was. It was Age of the Empires and I HAVE THAT GAME AND I LOVE IT. We all laughed at each other.
I think we are best friends now. First off my husband was as excited as yours when mike mentioned golden eye. Jared was thinking the vlog was about that.. He was wrong! I am in complete agreeance with your shoe judgement. I don't like flats either. I love heels, and love shoes! Jared says the same thing to me about my animal print shoes, no matter what they look like he says Ohhh hooker shoes today?? Urg! 5000 awesome point for me for NOT enjoying the booty dance :) and 5000 more because my favorites were your wedding shoes! Too adorable, and both animal print shoes you showed!
Ok I thought Miki had a bad shoe addiction but holy crap girl, you have A LOT of shoes!!! I wouldn't be able to keep that many shoes in my closet. lol

I have to say, for ages I wanted a pair of Birkenstock's on my feeeeeeet, but my feet are so tiny and narrow, the pair I had just didn't look right so I gave then away. I am loving your go to winter shoes, i want those. And your husband made me smile when he nerded out, because he reminded me of my big nerdy husband to be and I love that!! Yay shoes and nerds!

I have done all three of those things with cats AND dogs. I think that just makes me a crazy animal person. Could be worse. At least I'm not a crazy animal hoarder! (not yet at least)
I love to see cats on leashes. I'm not sure why though.
Hahah I have a leash for my kitten but have yet to use it other then to take her to the vet... I guess I haven't full on qualified for crazy cat lady. I definitely have full conversations with her though.

Anytime I walk by a cat, I feel the need to stop and yell "KITTY!" in a high-pitched voice before I realize what I'm doing...

and I think I just got rid of my birkenstocks but I loooved them! They got really smelly lol I've had a couple of pairs in my life.(And I am German so I guess that's why I had them!)

I am the opposite of you in the heels vs. ballet flats argument. I LOVE ballet flats (and just flats in generals) and really only trot out serious heels for special/dress-up occasions. Kitten heels and moderate wedges are ok, but platforms and super high heels are a no-go for me.
That IS a pretty fancy sweater you're rocking there... I happen to love it because I have never seen anything like it. Way to Rock it Alyx. Oh and your shoes. Love 'em!

You are a hilarious cat lady!!! I have my own little 4 legged meow friend. I haven't walked him on a leash in awhile, but I definitely talk to him and bathe him. He can be like a dog sometimes, waking me up on my bed, fetching, biting...the works!!!
