Sunday Confessions Link Up

Yo yo yo.

It's Sunday, and you all know what that means - time to dish it. Or confess. Or spill it. Or whatever you want to call it. Whatever it is, get it off your chest! Grab a button and link on up!

1. I appreciate all of you. I know this isn't really a confession, but I want you all to know how appreciative I am of your support while I've been dealing with some stuff the past few days, and while I was off somewhere in the blog abyss before that. You all are great, and I would hug you if I could.

2. I think it's ridiculous that I spend more time with my coworkers than my husband. Who decided that the work week should be 40 hours? Because that is definitely not the amount of hours I actually need to get my work done. Let's take 8 hours off of that week so that we can spend a little more time with family. Who's with me?!

3. I hate grocery shopping alone. It's so boring - I much prefer going with Mike.

4. I deleted every email in my inbox and checked "mark as read" on every blog post in my feed. I'm starting over this week. I hate playing catch-up, and I absolutely refuse to. So if I haven't visited your blog lately (or at all), leave a comment and I promise I'll stop by.

5. I didn't work out this week. For 9 (or is it 10?) consecutive weeks, I worked out faithfully. This week was the first that I didn't. Do I feel bad about it? A little. Will that stop me from getting back on track next week? Nope.

What do you have to confess?

I fully agree on he 40 hour work week things, early humans spent 3 hours a day getting food and shelter and spend the rest of the time eating, socializing, sleeping, and er..mating. AS IT SHOULD BE!

We have gotten into this really bad 40 hour a week habit, we should all look to France and agree to switch it to 32 hours.

Also, everyone has bad weeks, that's just life!

I fully agree! No more 40 hour work weeks.

Have a great day. xx ::: Shauna ::: www.shaunawyrick.com

I'm totally with you, I'm having a serious care of Sunday-night-itis... My husband works nights too (thankfully only for a few more weeks) and so Monday-Friday I see him for no more than 30mins a day - major sucko!

Sorry you're going through some stuff, sending you my love! X

Oh and I totally hate grocery shopping on my own too. Only 3 more weeks until toms working in the day again and we can go together again yay!!

I'm currently feeling a bit guilty because I slept in and didn't get up at 8 as usual to do my Sunday morning of marking and lesson planning. I am now debating whether I do that now or whether I do my errands and cleaning before settling down for 5 hours later. 32 hours sounds right to me. Working most of Sunday is plain wrong. Xxx

I have a 7 hour work week and I can barely make that at times. 40 hours is definitely too long!! I have been a slacker on my work out routine too. I need to get back on track. Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

To combat boredom while I grocery shop I talk to myself in different accents. But I don't answer back. I'm not THAT crazy. :)

I've also been slacking in the workout department. I wonder if it has anything to do with the weather?

The 40 hour work week is ridiculous. and in some positions where they expect 45-50 hours, how the hell do you get things done?! I mean, you want to spend time with your significant others, but you barely have time to fit in dinner and a workout.

Boo to 40-hour work weeks. I'm totaliy with you on this.

While I actually prefer to go grocery shopping by myself, I have to admit that #4 and #5 apply to me perfectly! :P Thanks so much for this link-up btw. It's my first time and I loved it :D

I am with you 100% on the dislike of a 40 hour work week. On a good week, I'm usually only busy for about 26-30 hours and spend the rest of my time trying to look busy.

I went through my inbox and deleted everything last week...sometimes it's just better to start over!

I AGREE ON THE 40 HOUR THINGY!
I think they should legalize 3 day weekends. Have Mondays off. For realz.

And I do the same thing about "mark as read" especially after coming home from work. *sigh*

I would hug you too! :) But I am thinking of you!
And I absolutely agree! 40 hours is too much!

I'm not a big fan of 40 hour work weeks either. My husband is salary and they seem to milk him for all he's worth sometimes.

I'm the same way with grocery shopping! I have to bribe my husband to go with usually.

I hate going grocery shopping alone! It's more fun with a partner. :)

i completely agree about taking 8 hours off the work week... with my hubs working nights right now, i hardly get to see him ever. no fun at all.

Wow. I'm so impressed that you wiped out your inbox in one foul swoop, Donskies! SO great! You're me hero.

Amen to the work week. I'm sorry it's been rough lately....here's to a fresh start this week :)

um no joke on the work week. I think its 40 hrs because they know no one actually is completing work for 8 straight hours a day. or is that just me?

You're right - grocery shopping with someone else is always way more fun!! I get really grouchy when I have to do it alone and then lug in all the bags by myself. :o)

I'm sending you hugs right now OOO !

I prefer grocery shopping with the hubs too! It's good for not getting blamed if something he wanted gets forgotten too... ;)
