What I Wore Wednesday & SOPA and PIPA
What up. Just so you guys know, SOPA and PIPA suck. Let's keep the internet from being censored, okay folks? Go here and sign the petition. Send a letter to your congressman. PLEASE!
So anyway. Today I realized that I actually love teaching when I get the chance to do it by myself. I mean, seriously. I had a whole class of 18 and 19 year olds actually relatively excited to talk about the novel that we're reading (Brave New World). My partner teacher (who I took over for when she left to talk to one of the students) came back and was amazed at the amount of participation.
My only mistake: Teaching a bunch of German teens what the phrase, "Puke and Rally" means. Rock on, German teens, rock on. I'm sure this will be them this weekend, trying to put the phrase into action:

To answer your question, no, we were not born in Germany, we were all born in the States but we spent most of our growing up there and Lissie, the youngest who is still in High school still lives there!
So, we're not German, we just grew up there and went to German schools so we felt German. But now that the rest of us live in the US, we feel very American and we're missing Germany!! I see that you live there! That's so cool! What brought you there? :)
